 All walnut we use has some figure, prices reflect the amount, density and pattern as well as the uniqueness of the overall presentation. "Davis" walnut is from a special tree that had exceptionally tight figure with unusually dramatic color.

"Millennium" walnut is from a special billet originally used for my 2 "Millennium" guitars similar to the Davis wood but with less dramatic color.

Bastogne walnut is the end result of the hybrid English/Claro nut. The tree is unable to reproduce so it is very rare (since it has no fruit it is usually removed at a very young age), reports are there are less than 250 usable trees and no telling how many have figure like this.
